Hey MG - I de-anodised my SilverSG75s .. This was in the summer of 07, when I was all prissy about having a shiny bike =). I wouldn't really recommend it, unless you are prepared to remove them every month and re-buff them. Mine look very dull now, but I don't really care anymore. Defeats to point of a fixie if you have to perform maintenence work on it all the time. Just my two pence.
