Your post was all about how you saw things. Your opinion doesn't offend me at all, of course it doesn't; I am just trying to point out that, as a man, your self-avowed inability to understand why it offends some women is entirely predictable and understandable. Why would you understand? Why would you expect to, really?

HAHA.... he'd never understand as nobody has ever complimented him in such a manner. Imagine a world full of lady van and taxi drivers that hollered out of windows at blokes on bikes all around town. The only time that has ever happened to me was when a particularily beautiful firelady (driving the fire engine...omg) winked at me... I nearly fell off!
