Marvellous Magical MixCD Invitation

I LOVE getting post and I LOVE hearing new music...and I LOVE hearing what makes other people dance, tap their feet, grin and sing...so here we go...something that encompasses all of that!!!

Here's the idea...

You make a mix CD of amazing tracks, and you send it to someone else who does the same. It's all done at random so it's a different person you're sending to / receiving from each time. And people are from all over the world and prob people from just over the road, so it might be a real cultural crazy mix... And every time you do it you get the satisfaction of a nice little package in the post in return and a sneaky window into someone's soul.

Let me know if you're up for it. You'll have to opt in each time, so if you can't be bothered to make and send a CD one time then no problem - just don't reply and that round will pass you by.

If you want to do it then send your address to nes@riseup.net (NOT a PM). It'll be friends of friends only so you don't have to worry about complete randoms having your address.

I am open to themes for the next one. I doubt everyone would appreciate or enjoy a cd full of christmas nightmares so i think the theme "christmas" is OUT. but if you can think of something please send me a suggestion by next** Monday 23rd November **to nes@riseup.net.

(You can put as many or as few tracks as you like so long as it is on a normal 80 minute audio cd. you don't have to fill the cd in time or tracks, but you can)

Aim to have CD's ready by the Friday 4th December. I'll collect addresses and send out an address for you to post your lovely package of melodies to...aces

Usually the next round wouldn't be so soon but a few people thought it would be nice to get one for christmas..so like the christmas fairy I am granting wishes.

Answers to FAQ's

• It can be a cd or a tape but it seems most people have cd players.
  
• Yes you have to make it and post it not just write a list of your favourite songs on this thread..that is TOTALLY missing the point
  
• You can live anywhere in the world and still take part
  
• You can put as few tracks on as you like but it must be on an 80 minute audio cd/tape. I recommend between 10 and 18 tracks
  
• You'll have to opt in each time by sending me an email, so if you can't be bothered to make and send a CD one time then no problem - just don't reply and that round will pass you by. But if you forget to email to say you're in then you won't be included.
