Right, Boisdale is out. Sounds like we have at least a pub lined up and possibly something else. We'll make something happen.
As for the group buy, I'll start looking into options. It's always best and most enjoyable to pick out your own cigars from a humidor, as somebody mentioned. The problem is that the UK has exorbitant tobacco taxes. I buy from shops when I visit the wife's family in Spain, but wouldn't do it here unless I was looking for a specific single cigar.
I know several vendors who were recommended to me by very experienced collectors and whom I have used for well over 5 years and completely trust. I only buy from a couple of sites because the majority of ones on the internet are well dodgy.
I'll try to get back with some options in a bit.
