Totally different. Not compatible.
These are SPD-R. The cleats look a bit like SPD cleats for MTB (but aren't). Same shoe fitting as MTB SPD's.
SPD-SL cleats look like lOOK cleats. Same fitting too.
SPD-R pedals have 2 kinds of cleats: fixed or float.
And don't forget to assemble the pontoons.
