Not sure how comfortable it will be to have a coaster brake on a track frame as they are usually used on frames with really laid back slack angles such as dutch bikes and cruisers.

but I have been riding the track frame in question with a set of layback moustache bars for a couple of weeks, and the more upright position (to quote scoble ''sit up and beg'' position) is really comfortable,
i still have about 2inches saddle to bar drop with a moustache set up, but its very very comfortable and relaxed,
as far as the 'harsh ride' - tis not something that fusses me
