I fancy going on to clipless, recommendations anyone?

All correctly maintained, adjusted and applied clipless systems will all work perfectly well with your bicycle. Everybody has their favorite and will tell you they are better.

Apart from those dick beater things. try to avoid them like you avoid having to kiss your elderly relatives at christmas

Would'nt use them on my fixed though, the connection just is'nt the best for fixed/road use. I have Quattros on the fixed, and they feel really solid, while having a nice amount of float. They are only really compatible with road shoes though.

I get the impression that for a road set-up feeling connection with MTN shoes, ATACs are your friend.
