Too much too soon monsieur Re-cycled! Take it steady - allow your body to understand what it is you are asking of it! Laps, Sprints, Strength training, Climbs, Endurance rides?
Break it all down to "Periods" my friend - and reap the benefits next season!!
Cheers, its a fair point, but taking things slowly is not my style :) two years ago i went from weighing 110kg to 85kg in just over a month, everyone said it was unhealthy and that i would put it all back on straight away, i did'nt though (i now weigh 93kg)
i understand what you mean though. I should take things gradually, and anyway there is no hurry.
I think i will first focus on general fitness, so laps and sprints of regents park, then when i've got a bit leaner, i will start strength training, and pack on some muscle. and then just push on as i improve.
