Just thinking about this and her reasons for not being keen on riding my be many... I mean if she has a job where she has to dress smart its a bit more of a paff to get ready at work than it is at home. My job is casual+ which is good, but people can tell when I've caught the tube in and not just chosen from the selection of clothes in my desk drawer. Sometimes is a hassle - one you get used to, but still.
