But Cav is not sprinting on a velodrome - he's muscling over a 53x11 or whatever, at a slower cadence. It would be pretty difficult to make the front wheel skip in that scenario.
I think scherrit made a good point about what happens during balls or flange out efforts. I know I've made both ends of the bike skip during sprints in different situations, and it takes a lot of practice to find your balance point during all the 'acceleration scenarios' you might encounter.
True, but I wasn't really using Cav's road sprinting as an example of what dammit should do, just thought it was a good example of putting weight forward to an extreme.
