You can pick up a Shimano M756 Disc front for under £23... New axle and spacers, £15 or less if you shop around and DIY it... Spokes, £10... Rigida DP18, £20-ish... Do the math! I've gone off Phils since my rear thread stripped... Meh...
I've never been on them myself, was never overly wowed by the design and never thought they were particularly durable, my Goldtecs on the other hand were excellent, those hubs were flipping awesome, not a single sniff of a failure.
Mind you the ridiculously overbuilt Profile lockring probably helped, I don't think i've seen another hub ever with such an outrageously bullet-proof looking lockring, and now Profile re-designed their shitty rear axle, the whole hub should be pretty damn good, i'm surprised more people on here don't run them to be honest.
I'm more worried about durability ;)
