Using a spare spoke with the nipple on backwards does the job but takes ages. If you're planning on doing any more Deep-V wheels then I would recommend getting yourself a spoke nipple guide or nipple clamp. You'll find it tricky at the two holes either side of the joining point but otherwise should be fine.
