Are you an alcoholic?

It's not that its private, or that people not from Manchester can't look or post on the Manchester sub forum, but 99% of the traffic on the sub-forum is just a small group of friends, so when somone says something about how cool it is to get drunk, we know it is in jest, don't need mrs myth (yeah i went there) to come and tell us how immature we are

and as for my question

A. impressed
B. appalled
C. sympathetic to your addiction
D. indifferent*

believe it or not it was a serious question, having seen 2 members of my family destroy their lives through alcoholism i'm interested in the attitute people have towards it in this country. i.e getting pissed is cool or something to brag about. so that's why i was asking if people want to impress others by saying they drink 14 units, couldn't give a toss, hate the fact that they drink too much etc.
I just made the mistake or asking the question in a manchester thread. maybe Velocio should set a separate section that the london majority can't see?
