If you can deliver any relevant, not too rude and actually funny jokes plus saying something nice about the couple then you're sorted.
Try telling overly rude stuff, try too hard to crack jokes, etc. you'll fail.

Best speech I saw was at a mate's wedding. Kev is naturally quite funny and his pretty dead pan delivery of some funnies and some "ooh ahh" lovey stuff was top notch.
