This years mini festival will again host an exciting alleycat race that not only challenges your speed but also enables you to do a bit of do-gooding for local campaigns and charities.
Sunday 11th OCTOBER starting at 1PM, meet outside Bicycle boutique, next to sugden centre, off grosvenor street, off oxford road
*You can be in teams of 2 people (if you don't have a team you can find people on the day or on the forum http://ibikemcr.org.uk/?q=forum)
You will be given a manifesto outlining about 8 different checkpoints at differnt points around the city that the whole team must visit (at the same time) and complete a revolutionary task set by a local campaign/community group. this could involve peeling 20 carrots for a homeless shelter or digging up 5 potatoes for an allotment group (no clues though!)
(the tasks will be pretty easy and fun)
Prizes will be given to
*The first three teams back that have completed the course in the quickest time.
Plus bonus prizes for:
*Best fancy dress- Your favourite revolutionary
*Person that completes the most bonus revolutionary activities (you will each be given a card listing extra bonus activities to do on the way round. you don't have to do these but the person that does the most will get a prize. If there is a tie break the judge will deem which "revolutionary" act were best!)
