What's going on with the header?

Yuck. Yuckity, yuck yuck.

The theme defaults to having to enable javascript in order to use standard features.

VB - Is this the same for the mobile version? If not, do you have any idea what string is needed in the User Agent to switch to mobile?

The mobile version is a reduced interface and has virtually no dependencies. It works on all devices.

Few things that I would mention from my own use of the forum:

• With an iPhone (which I use to view the forum most of the time due to works restrictive proxy) the menu's that appeared when you moused over (fingered over?) where a nightmare. They'd appear then vanish, then appear and allow you to click, then vanish and lock up. Clickable things please!
  
• I used the "LFGSS>General>South East Drinks" thing above the post you are reading a lot- now that it is at the top of the screen when I want to simply return to General from SE beers I hit either the main banner or the page URL input area which is very frustrating- having it back in it's old position would fix this
  
  

Other than that seems good.

Menus are now clickable... CTRL+F5 to get the latest if you haven't yet.

There is a breadcrumb trail in the very top letf corner that gives you a path back to the General forum in a single click.

on the header linky thing, mechanics and fixin is called mechanics, but when you click it it is still called mechanics and fixin. intentional?

I have no means to test what you describe. Assuming it's a user error.

Sorry if i'm being thick, but what's the difference between 'new posts' and 'todays posts'?

Today's Posts = All posts from the last 24 hours, includes the ones you've read and not read.

New Posts = All unread threads.

Today's Posts is good if you just want to see what's happening.

New Posts is good if you're catching up after a weekend and don't want to miss something.

are you viewing the forum in the mobile mode on your phone? in which case it is still the same

but if you had disabled that function and viewed it like on a normal computer there is now a great deal of missing functionality

so STFU you lump!

I still lack the means to test anything. Continuing to assume that we have a user issue.
