• There is NOT always a choice at all. If born a Dahlit, what choices would you have?

This is simply priviledged Western thinking. One assumes everyone has the same choices that they do - to do, or not to do.

Not so at all. The choice to give things away, is made by those who are rich. Yes, there are richer people, and vastly so......Elton John, for example. But to give things away, means that you have them already. Some people have nothing they can give away. These people are poor.

Anyway, Paul-Michel is a funny guy. Always brings a smile or a frown to this forum.

This is simply not true. The very idea I mentioned arose from a concentration camp! That is not 'priviledged' thinking. It was in exact recongition of the brutality that mental strength becomes even more important.

Anyone even at the lower castes, even while being whipped, or abused, you can always control, with different degrees of difficulty, what goes on in your mind, and your response to it.

This is not to ignore the concrete political problem of overturning the injustice but that is a seperate issue. In the mean time, one has to make oneself happy, and alive before things change.
