• Some bleak reading here you bunch of miserable cunts!

In general I feel that mankind makes too much fuss over itself, relax... enjoy yourself.

We're not God-like and in that way we should perhaps accept that people will always make mistakes, hopefully those mistakes will be fewer than the victories, but if not then those mistakes could lead to a whole heap of anything and that's ok too (for the universe as a whole, perhaps not so for mankind).

Day-to-day I think it's important to listen and question whilst generally being aware of how your actions may affect others (an informed-compassionate-awareness if you will). Such a position allows some sort of standpoint against our inherent selfish nature (kill or be killed) and allows for some sort of action/change (if-and-when we feel it's needed) in the long run.

Taking recycling as an example: In my opinion the solution would be to know directly how much of your own waste ends up in a local landfill, how this is then dealt with over time, how you compare to the average waste consumption of any given individual and how all this extra waste is affecting not only your own life, but the of everyone you know and can imagine. With some sort of honest system for comparison (rather than personal/selective commenting) I'd then hope that there would be enough reactionary compassion to evoke change, but if not, I'd be ok with that too (not on a personal level, but on a grander scale as my own thoughts may not reflect the supposed wisdom of humanity as a whole.)
