You also dont have nice hills to ride up, to torque it. I like the rotafix method, looks sound to me. Its just a bit silly (IMHO) publishing dangerous quotes, when there are so many feckwits around*.
Personnaly I find my chainwhip offers too much leverage for a clumsy tit like myself. So never use it to tighten the sprocket much anyway.
