Bit irrelevant, but I just read the following at work and thought I'd share:
"Champions of buzkashi, the Afghan polo played with a headless goat, are occasionally called Pahlawan. So were the warrior champions of medieval Afghan Kings. Two thousand years earlier, in Ancient Persia, Pahlawan was almost synonymous with ‘hero’. The sweat of wrestlers was collected and given to the sick to drink as medicine."
