Also whilst what you paid for them is a good starting point to their second hand value you have to also bear in mind the state of the market and the perceived value.
Anything that is second hand has no warrenty, so will be much more valuable to the original purchasor who does have that peace of mind.
I've spent more money on my car than it is technically worth- i.e. I'd never get back what I have spent on it, but that's life.
You can pick up (if you are patient) Dura Ace hubs on CXP14/30/33's for approx £200, and the hubs are £196 new for example.
