Yeah I dunno about poundstore hacksaws. anyway. job has been done thanks to luckskull - used his own hacksaw and it took about 5 mins so this can be locked I guess. Hacksaws are fine. I didnt care about the edges or even if it was a straight chop b/c i was slapping on grips anyway
but thanks to everyone else who offered to help, this forum is really great.
