Maybe she doesn't have a lot of confidence on the road and someone flying around the corner scares her, then being swore at probably upset her/made her more defense/scared.

And now, we've got a problem here, because it's hard to give a girl special treatment, because this is also patronising ergo sexist. People should have more awernes while cycling, as they share the road with other vehicles and pedestrians.
