Maybe she doesn't have a lot of confidence on the road and someone flying around the corner scares her, then being swore at probably upset her/made her more defense/scared.
I could believe that over her having an attitude of owning the road. she is in the wrong but i have found people scared of cycling doing stupid things (pavement riding, one way streets, not looking in the right place, erratic steering) etc etc
I would have expained to her what she did wrong, if she was sorry i'd roll on. if she got all mouthy and up in my face then i'd unleash the flying Falcon punch! end oF!
