nah I meant using a golf club instead of a mallet- making one is no problem, just looking for the right pipe, something that wont shatter too easy...

Could only find 5mm thick 1" diameter tubing and a 1 wood golf club shaft looks a bit tiny but clatters a tennis ball across the workshop
