I'd been riding SPD for over 15 years, went to ROC's earlier this year (end of May).
No problems at all- very similar feel to SPD apart from much more secure, no false clip-in, and the ROC version seem to guide your foot to the right place to clip in much better than SPD.
My view- ROC's beat SPD, I'll not be going back.
