lest we forget the whole reason the sub-forums exist is because london folk got fed up with non-london posts in 'their local area'. so your comment is a bit off the mark. give us a bit of leeway?

Off the mark? All I said is that I have occationaly posted in a sub-forum without realizing it, and have been greeted by grumpines. This cannot be off the mark, it is a fact. I would be ok with sub forums having the right to determine if they are open to everyone posting, or more of a members only posting forum.
I'm especially in favor of this if London can be members only as well. (BTW, that is a joke. kind of.)
