Here's the idea:
Teams from all over the UK enter. All names put into a hat. Drawn in single knockout, no seeding.
1st team of the pairs out of the hat is the home team, 2nd is away team.
Ties to be played within a month of draw being made. Upon completion of ties, winners into a hat, no seeding etc.
If 16 teams enter, we could complete in in 4 months, if up 32 enter (and we can have byes), 5 months.
Draw to be made 1st October?
