Those names are hilarious.
Call it what you will, but I maintain that "chukker" is a more precise, and hence, better term for then "game." On dictionary.com, the first entry for the term "chukker" has one definition:
–noun Polo. one of the periods of play.
The first entry for the term "game" has 25 definitions.
Technically, for league, I think we should refer to 3 chukkers (timed and/or first to 5) in a game. This is just more precise terminology. Simple as that.
