Dr V, you can't just decide on your own that that's now the name of a hardcourt period of play. It's derived from posh polo.
I love our game because of its total subversion of the horse variety. One of the things that pisses me off when people find out that I play bike polo are their assumptions that it is the same as horse polo and therefore an elitist, snobbish game. One of their very first questions tends to be "Oh, so you have chukkers, right".
Yes, it's just a word, but in my opinion it is one that we should not seek to import to hardcourt.
