regarding buying from Rene/Track Supermarket: before it was a "proper" shop (= from his blog), you had to place the order directly to him (personal e-mail), and since I was concerned about customs, he asked me if I wanted him to mark the items down, so I could get through customs without paying VAT et al.
I have purchased again from the "proper" shop, and now things are more straight. so if you don't contact him before shopping you won't the opportunity to ask them to be marked down. apart from that, now that the shop seems to be more "legal", maybe they're more worried about declaring lesser value for shipping items because it can cause problems for them (as other shops do). this is just an opinion, and it's better to ask him BTW — he's a nice guy.
