• Just read through the thread to catch up. Here are the things that have been talked about that aren't yet on the 'stuff to vote on' list ...

    1. Should a ‘league’ night be specified?
    2. Would Triple fixtures work?
    3. Can Teams have 4 players, i.e. fixed sub …
    4. Draws vs Golden Goal to decide games
    5. Do teams need Home courts?
    6. Should there be a limit on the number of teams?
    7. Should there be an Entrance fee?
    8. Should there be a Geographic restriction (i.e. ‘London’ teams only?)
    9. Does the league need or want external Sponsorship or Fundraising?
    10. Is placing in the league related to a UK Championships qualification?? (this last is just an idea from me)

    My thoughts on these points:

    1. Too many teams registered to do one night a week only. Team night can continue in order for some league games (maybe) and tourney teams to get together.
    2. I'm not sure.
    3. I think by using only non-league players as subs would naturally gravitate towards having a preferred substitute. But for the sake of a small pool to get subs from (most good players will be participating in the league), I'm not sure if a dedicated 4th player is a good idea.
    4. Golden Goal FTW!
    5. I really liked the home court idea, it never really worked but it did accomplish the reason for it. We found some new courts... There just aren't enough flood-lit courts around for everybody.
    6. Not sure.
    7. Fundraisers and donations/contributions accepted.
    8. If it's the 'London' bike polo league, then yes. Otherwise it's the South England league? This could start the idea of a British Cup though... Or if a few teams are dedicated enough, an inter-city league could develop with monthly meets/fixtures? (Madison, Milwaukee and Chicago do this, or tried to do it - not sure of the outcome)
    9. DIY
    10. I could agree with this.
