London Bike Polo League II (winter 2009/2010)

Just read through the thread to catch up. Here are the things that have been talked about that aren't yet on the 'stuff to vote on' list ...

Should a ‘league’ night be specified?
Would Triple fixtures work?
Can Teams have 4 players, i.e. fixed sub …
Draws vs Golden Goal to decide games
Do teams need Home courts?
Should there be a limit on the number of teams?
Should there be an Entrance fee?
Should there be a Geographic restriction (i.e. ‘London’ teams only?)
Does the league need or want external Sponsorship or Fundraising?
Is placing in the league related to a UK Championships qualification?? (this last is just an idea from me)

We know nothing about triple fixtures until we try, I suggest we do just that. Suck it and see.

Also, teams qualifying through this is SUCH a contentious issue, I suggest we fully avoid it in future. Especially as so many teams will split/reform after the league has completed and before any UK/Euro champs takes place. Surely we learnt that this year. To make that point clear, 2 teams placed above the team that was in the euros due to winning the league. Further to that, those 2 teams didn't exist during the league.
