@ fiddy - Mine are 8 speed shamals, the original nice shiney silver hub sort. When I bought them they had been converted and where fitted with a 9 speed carrier and 9 speed cassette, I have put an original 8 speed carrier back on at the moment cause I am running 8 speed, but you can switch between the 2.
I will probably sell them soon, and if you want to buy them, you could have the choice of 8 or 9.
