Figures of speech

One of the basic elements of a contract is the need for consideration. Where is the consideration in the scenario which you describe.

Consideration is, of course not necessary if the contract is evidenced in a deed and under seal.

It should be 'equal' consideration - (rather than just consideration).

But fuck seals, fuck all that 'legal' shit - my contracts are stuck in common law and not 'legal' (maritime) - so all I need to do is keep them on dry land.
