It's a fucking splined BB axle, RPM, you cunting fuckdick. Of course it's similar. Shitty bearings that give up the wanking ghost at the first sign of water with a pissy little bit of grime in.
External BBs rule, but until Campag/Shimano/Sugino do one for single ring chainsets, I'm going square taper. It's stiff enough for me, and I'll outspike any power you or that fat cunt can produce.
