Doing this pendle sportive and taking bike to the pyrenees in the summer - possibly hoping to ride the ventoux on ther way home.
geared as follows
chain rings - 50 and 36
sprockets 23 through 12
or if you prefer gear inches 112.5 through 42.2
Now recently tried to go up the back of mam nick in the peak district and had to push - ive only got thin legs. could turn the pedals but way too high a gear.
so - suggested solutions.
a smaller front chain wheel
a different rear casette
3 should have bought a triple
