Punning and cock-jokes aside, I think the OP ought to be heard on this, though ... What a nob-cheese this seller is. I am finding it increasingly annoying when people say 'project' as in this case "I need the funds to fund a project" which I think we're meant to assume actually means "bike". This forum's pretty bad for that actually, people are always banging on (in the 'current projects' thread, obviously) about a 'new project' they're building. Its a fucking BIKE for fuck's sake, just say you are building a new bike. PLEASE? It makes us already-obsessive on-the-spectrum mid-life-crisis boys look even more really fucking lame, eerrr neeerr look at my new *pro*ject, its a *pro*ject I really love, I love riding this *pro*ject fnaa fnaa. [/meaningless rant]

how about a forum raid? We could all 'watch' the item so the seller thinks there's loads of interest. And we could do the old stupid question routine, I dunno, what about "how many spokes go into the hubs and is it the same number as go into the rims?" or some other puerile crap. Or how about "The bike is black - is it made from carbon?" then if he/she says erm "the braek levers are" we can bid him up to one meeelion dorra cos they aint...

This rant looks like a bit of a project, Skully. I look forward to seeing it when it's finished!
