i run contis since circa 600mi for my commute and weekend screwing, gp4000 up front followed by a gatorskin and both are real nice to me. puncture protected, they make me faster. i skid a bit and they are not cut up, much less than tires with just 100 city mi i saw. fast and grippy - i like the grip in wet, though some might say they are a bit bitchy then. think they pushed the grip a bit and when it looses it, it comes a bit sudden, still the point where that happens would have me ride like a bit of a kamikaze in the rain.
thouhg i lack other good_tire experience, got a good tire deal at ribble but wouldn't pay more than that for 'em. a tad over 20quit is expensive for tires in my eyes, so they are upper pricelevel but seem worth it from my experience.
