I wouldn't put that lock on the bike unless you didn't have a bag that day, sprung vs unsprung weight will make the handling of your bike noticeably deader.
I have that same lock but wouldn't want it on any of my decent bikes if I could help it. Beater sure, why not?

Nice work with the rattle-proofing though.
