As far as I can tell, they're just the same rims, but the argent (French for silver [and money]) ones are anodized.
This is based entirely on this catalog: http://www.equusbicycle.com/bike/mavic/images/11and12.jpg. That's the anodized section, and they're all called argent except one, which is called or (gold), and is in fact, gold.
Anyway, still looking for a e2 argent to match one I already have. 32 hole preferred. Any one?
