Pads may get a bit of laughter from other people, but I really like not having swollen, painful and scabby elbows and knees. get some.
Also I beleive if you tighten up your headset your bars shouldn't be so bad, if it's really extreme, you could try forks with different rake?
You can also practice falling by doing stupid things on grass (take that which ever way yo like :-), I do beleive that practicing falling makes you better at it! I didn't wear my elbow pads at souths this week (just didn't get round to putting them on), played plenty of games, still fell off, but managed to not mangle my elbows for a change! :-)
I will still be putting them back on the next time I see harry playing though ;-)
Yeah I think some pads are going to be the way to go. Makes you feel a bit nerdy but, I think I can trade massive pain and bruises or a little nerdiness. The wrist guards are coming in the mail any day now.
As far as the bike goes I think it might be the old school geometry on the bike, the rake on the forks is ineed a bit loose and the wheel sits way out infront of the bike. Shame I really enjoy that bike. I'm not giving up on it yet.
I'm really in a bad way today, I can't even walk up stairs, I have to keep taking the lift up one flight. I'm still coming back for more though, so beware! Not sure how fit i'll be for monday? Crossed fingers.
