What an amazing few days. Hard to sum up in one post really, but the highlights for me were playing with the police on Saturday night in a bar car park. I thought Mike was going to get arrested after a head on collision with a bike cop!
To all the people that stayed with me, Seabiscuit, Drew, Leon, Zoe etc..It was a pleasure to host you all.
Thanks Zoe for being such a good team mate in pretty much every throw in! Oh, and sorry the breakfast wasn't more vegan friendly :)
To all the teams I met you all played amazing, in particular Malice. The game between you and JAD was the best one of the tourney IMO, Ian and Todd played their hearts out.
Ali, Jo and Sarah - it was a pleasure to be knocked out by you. Oh and FYI we changed our t-shirts because we were too sweaty ;)
Props to Seattle for the win, and thanks to everyone who came down. My personal highlight was the girls on top of the goal cheering on Roxy and Dan in faux American accents. "We believe in you guys!"
The standard of polo was a real eye opener for me, it was awesome to play with so many quick players. Guthrie, Hugo, Bill, Mike, Ray, Yorgo etc... I really enjoyed the games i played with you.
I'm gonna try and head down to London for the throw in tourney on Saturday. Once again thanks to EVERYONE who came down and supported MCR.
