  • Aerospokes are good at maintaining velocity. They act like a flywheel. It's an effect that you actually notice on London roads, unlike the aerodynamic benefits of most other silly wheels. :)

    You'll find it harder to accelerate, murder in a crosswind or headwind, but once you get up to speed, you'll find it easier to stay at speed. But it works the other way, you'll also notice the increased weight and momentum will make it harder to slow down as well!

    Personally i think any more than 250 quid for a used second hand spok is taking the piss, and more than 200 if it has had any serious use
