Always a dangerous thing to hit the send when annoyed but anyhow ...
item for sale in the classifieds forum recently. Just what I've been after to complete a build .. I respond through the listing .. "dibs" and send a pm immeditally ( well two mins afterward).. get a PM back later "sorry someone got there before you" .. but no activity whatsoever on the listing .. (it may be that someone pm'd only that person but I've always seen "pm'd you" comments in respect of items for sale)
I like this forum and try to give simething back e.g. when I come across stuff that I think others might be after I put onto the "e-bay/craigs list" listing .. .. but what happended to me today makes me feel that its a case of well it might be for sale if no mates on the forum want it .. which is disingenuinous and make fcuking e-bay look honest
obviously there is no legal contract attached to listing an item but to list an item and strike a seperate deal is outside of the spirit I thought existed here..
If you want to sell something within the classified forum you should deal there and not fcuking waste peoples time with BS ..
