My current project bike has a 122 BCD chainring (Stronglight 93). It's a bit of a weird size, apparently now obsolete according to Sheldon.
The chainring is 3/32, I managed to find one place that sells them but not in 1/8. So will it be OK to run that with 1/8 chain and cog? From what I've read on other sites it will, although people are saying it will be noisy. How noisy?! Has anyone here done this? Or does anyone know where I can get a 1/8 chainring in 122 BCD if such a thing exists?
