seems like a cluttered pedal for no real gain... if i am off on a jaunt without my sidis i just slap my mks cheapies on with cages and straps... takes minutes. Also if im nipping between pubs i can competently ride my SPD SLs in normal shoes for a short ride... not comfortable but then i imagine a thin strap and no cage is far from ideal. Those spd clip in things posted above seem like a good thing to have in your bag pocket for lazy shoe changes. though with the cost of spare cleats i may as well just have a spare pair of pedals...
