Bike shop!
Its so ironic, wouldve practically been my dream job a couple years ago.
I always used to want to work in a shop, especially a flashy chain one with big discounts, and fix bikes.
Ive also recently for the past few months been absolutley desperate for any job. (I was applying for some pretty rough things)
But now, tbh - I feel a little old to be starting out in the totally unlucrative bike trade. Im kind of sick of fixing bikes too, Id rather ride them!
What I am chuffed about though is finally having some bloody income! Its hard times, any jobs are good. And I will have money to blow on bikes, travelling and random shenanigans. Its gonna rock.
Its really rare for me to have even got an interview as I have NO checkable references or any non casual jobs. But I was a bit shocked to find out that I was the BEST candidate.
The staff induction sounds radical too. 3 day residential, MTB & Road bike building AND riding!
