  • I actually really like the frame.

The seattube angle, the long top tube lengh compared to seat tube length, and the rake of the forks all look good for road riding to me. I personally dont ride a true track geo (BJ Vigorelli), as I use the bike to ride over longish distances, but can see the attraction of steep seat tube and zippy handling.

Asthetically the lugs are nice, especially the fork ends, and the finishing around the seat stays seat tube join looks good. The track ends look nice and solid. I would view the fact that it has ugly decals is a bonus, as it makes it all the easier to sand them off (still loving the green though). I'm by know means an expert, but it looks like a good starting place to me. My only question would be about the tube butting, which is obviously not apparant from the pictures.

As for 'made in the far east'.

    • my winter/utility bike has a brandless (clear coated bare metal) 7005 series alu frame. Made in the east by the guys that make Giants alu frames.
    • My next frame will hopefully be a voodoo titanium 29r (originally Voodoos were made in US then they went bust or something and are they are now made in the east).
    • I would like to build a Carbon road bike (loose plan at the mo) and have looked alot at the pedal force framesets (who do not hide the fact that production is in the east).

For me its all about getting a high end ride without the high end pricetag.
