Just been outbid on an item then the bid was retracted straight away.. I believe this was done to gauge my maximum bid without committing themselves.. is this done a lot?
I'm already starting to get annoyed with sniping (although i suppose the old bid what you want to pay maxim holds true) being winning bidder until the last 20 seconds then losing out by 20p..
